Keynote: AI and Digital Ethics at ZEISS

What are important ethical considerations when using AI in industry applications?

Some weeks ago, I had the opportunity to give a keynote at the ZEISS Group's Innovation Summit.

The theme this year was “Innovate with AI” – and I took this opportunity to focus on *responsible* innovation with AI … and what all of this has to do with pirates, deer, and glue-cheese on pizza!

With a full house and 600 participants, and moderated by Peter Gerdemann, we discussed why and how ethics and technological innovation are deeply intertwined; how ethics helps us in grey areas; and how you can build and leverage a bottom-up culture of ethical foresight and responsible innovation.
